Follow-up surgery to be scheduled

Claire went for tests at Maine Med yesterday and the docotors are pleased with her progress (now up to 7 lbs., 10 oz.). They will cotact us shortly in order to schedule her planned follow-up surgery (re-attachement and insertion of her stoma). We're probably looking at a mid-October time frame. She will be in the hospital 4 or 5 days. The Dwyer family isn't really looking forward to going back in the hospital, but after all that we've been through this is relatively minor.

Meanwhile, the girls are keeping busy with school, dance, gymnastics and soccer (Madelyn scored her first goal, in the second game, last week)....there's also a rumor that piano lessons may be in the offing.
